enough is enough....

it seems that there have been some children sneaking into the back room at the cafe here..... so ive taken liberty to install a new feature here...

i've installed this in the new childrens area, since we now cater to birthday parties and cake contests as well... i figured having a pooper day care would be important while some of the clients use the adult rooms in the establishment...

we need a good bar fight or something around here... any ideas/takers?

I knew this was coming. I knew it, I knew it, I knew it (You know why honey? Cuz like you said in your snotty, sarcastic little remark the other day, I "know everything!". We have people from all over the world stopping by to check out our recipies and if they click on this first, I'm afraid, speaking for myself of course, I'm absolutely screwed. This is not the impression I want to leave with my huge fan base!!! I'm going to have to post. You know that, don't you?. And I'll probably have to post 3-5 times to bury this damn thing. You have exactly 2 hours to collect comments. At 3:20 I'm posting. Why, because I will not let my dessert be denied it's moment of glory! Maybe Cheese will make it for you. Ask her to take a peek.

Love ya you little devil,
XO
P.S. Let's go dance till 3. Cheese, is that okay?

Leah, knock it off. Don't encourage him. I have enough trouble. I don't have the energy to take on all three of you.

Nathan just saw the Elephant butt slide and he hollars out, "That's cool, Mom. Can we go to Chucky Cheese?" Too funny. Just what we needed.

Obviously I'm giving you additional time because the comments are so funny.

Does anyone know how to cook a London Broil? I bought it for T-Bone and the kitties. The guy at the meat counter said 350 degrees, 20 minutes per lb. I did a bit of research and didn't find that to be true. I have it in the oven now, just placed it in, so if I have to do something different, I can. I seared it on both sides, then placed it in a baking dish with about 1 1/2 of broth, then covered with foil. Obviously I didn't add seasonings, tenderizers or anything of that sort. Do you think this method will work? It's about 3 lbs of meat and if I listen to the guy behind the counter, I'd cook it for about an hour with no broth, just plopped in a pan, but all the recipies I read stated 2-3 hours for a 1-2 lb London Broil. Am I missin' somethin'?

Oh Suzanne, just get on the elephant slide and give Inner Voices a break...we love him because he is the way he is...

I know you're a wacky chick too...;-)

Suzanne--I think that will work--you can sort of stew it that way to make it more tender for the animals (I guess T Bone can gnaw it any old way, but the cats probably need it a bit softer, right?) So I might do it like a pot roast, and you can do it on the stovetop. Just bring it to a boil, then cover it, turn down the heat and let it simmer away for awhile until it's tender. Or bake it. It'll stew a bit either way.

These elephant butt comments juxtaposed with the london broil discussion are pretty rock n' roll, peeps! Never let it be said we're not a veritable Round Table!!!! Who can keep up with us!?!!

Oh God, this is too funny. I got sidetracked by house hold stuff and couldn't get my damn post up! And Random Chick, you are CORRECT my dear...love the man to death. Okay,
I'll accept him as he is,
I'll accept him as he is,
I'll accept him as he is.

I'll also take one trip down the elephant butt slide, but will deny it all my life. Here goes. Whoooooooooopie. Wow, that was fun! Don't tell anyone.

"Yes, Hedgehog, Aunt Suzie will take you on the slide too. One time, that's all! You're mother has explained the metaphor, I assume?"
"Okay, I'll go first, you follow, but for God sakes don't land on me and break a bone ~ no not your bone silly, my bone. Jeeeeeeeeze. Oh my God here come the twins. Okay, you go first! Hurry! No, I didn't push you, I just headed you in the right direction. Hurry!!!"

"Okay sweetie, lets just sit here and have some wonderful coffee your Aunt R.C. prepared and a nice slice of cheesecake now that we're safe from the Pokeman Twins and the elephant butt slide. Honey, has Aunt Suzie told you the story of the objectification of woman and abuse of animals...?"
