A special Message To You

I just wanted to let everyone know how special all of you are to me.
I don't know how we all managed to find each other, but I am so glad that we did.
You all have helped me get through so many hard knocks here lately, and although I am facing yet another huge hurdle in the road, I know that each and everyone of you will be here for me with words of wisdom, encouragement, and merriment. So I just want you all to listen to this song and realize that each and everyone one of you have left something worth leaving behind.

I love you. I just posted about turkeys, came here to have a drink and found this. With tear in my eyes, even before listening to the video, I felt humbled. I love you, but you know that. And how we all found one anther? I just don't know, but thank God we did. I can't imagine my life without all of you. You guys never fail to lift me when I'm low and make me laugh my ass off when I least expect it. I adore each and every one of you. I'm grateful.

You realize this is the anniversary of us all meeting on 1pic. He's long gone for most of us, but look at the gift he gave. I wouldn't trade the last year for a million dollars.

I love you honey and thank you. The video is beautiful. And baby, your dad is going to be okay when he leaves, and so will you.

I love you,

*Bartender my dear man, can Cece have a shot of something strong and can I please have some bottled water.*

Hi Cecile!

Just stopped by for a quick bite, something to wet my whistle and to say "Hi!" It's great to be among friends in times like these.

Best wishes,

I'm here!

Right after my dad died, at home in his easy chair, and had been taken away by the funeral people, my friend came over with booze and we toasted him with Maker's Mark. We left a shot by his favorite chair that night...

I'm a tee-totaller mostly now--but

let's raise our glasses to Cecile's dear father--

Beautiful song!! We are all here for you during this time...and always. As we both said yesterday, what a wonderful, loving group of people we have met here.

I feel very blessed to have you as my you.

Be safe traveling, hugs to "the boys". Call when you can.

Love, Debbie

What a wonderful sentiment in that song by Lee Ann. There are people who touch our lives in so many ways, more than they will ever know. For me, some of those people frequent this joint and lift me up when I need it. The song reminds me to cherish those people who mean that much to me.

I did not get the chance to share much time with my father before he was taken from me. I hope the moments you shared with your father will always stay with you. He certainly made a mark on your life which you share with all of us to our great benefit.

Hi darling. It's late and I have to unload the dishwasher as you know, but Bob made me think a great deal tonight, so I'm here. I'm listening to Lee Ann as I write this and want you to know that your post matters. You picked the perfect song. I know because I'm crying. I also know you're in pain, but you'll be okay. Just relax into it honey. Embrace the pain and let it carry you forward. We all love you so much and won't abandon you.
