Beauty, Tranquility, Friendship

I Googled "beauty," "tranquility," and "friendship" in images and then I selected the ones I thought you all would like. This post is dedicated to all my friends here at the Wild Onion Cafe, and especially to our lovely Cecile.

Enjoy!
XOXOXO

I agree with Zack. Also, precious, thoughtful and beautiful. You're a keeper! We're awfully lucky aren't we. I was thinking that very thing this morning while enjoying a bit of peaceful "me time" before getting up, then Ohno jumped on my belly at full throttle and another Ground Hog day began.

Cece is surround by so much love. She'll be fine in time. Thank you for this post and the previous one. Both are just beautiful.

Cece, love you.

RC, love you.

IV, love you.

I'm exhausted. I never thought going back to work after this past weekend would wipe me out so badly. On top of the whole death thing, I have had an upper respiratory infection coupled with laryngitis. So my beautiful voice would just sound squeeky and scratcy right now. I must tell you all another Dad story. My Dad was in the Coast Guards when WWII began. By rule, he bacame part of the U.S. Navy. He fought on the Pacific side of the war against the Japanese. He had fastinating stories about the bombings of Borneo, Phillipenes, that was where he was stationed. He made a best friend while he was in the Navy. His name was Don. Hence, my youngest brother's name. Anyway, my Dad and "Uncle Don" were like brothers. I guess they did everything together. The were firefighters together, they worked at Bush's Brewer in St. Louis together, and they became piolts and flew cessna planes together. Just before he died, Uncle Don gave Dad a watch. Dad wore the watch for most of my life. About 6 years ago, the watch stopped working. Dad gave the watch to my sister this past summer to get it repaired, but none of the jewlers could fix it because, the parts were no longer in production. So the weekend before my dad passed, my sister took the watch back to him. Dad put the broken watch on his arm and it started working. They told me the watch worked right up until just before he died. I'm not sure if the story is true or not, because some members of my family are a bit flaky, but it is quite a fascinating story. Perhaps it were a sign? Ok, I need to get my boys out of the tub and get them to bed. Have a wonderful evening folks, and RC, thanks for the beautiful post. I will start visiting everyone and posting again soon. I just don't have the energy yet.

Hi Cece. I love hearing stories about your dad. Stop by your establishment and tell us about him whenever you feel like it. And I'll bet that story is true!

Take care of yourself dear!

p.s. My favorite photo is "tranquility." I'm thinking of replacing my Severus desktop photo with it...the ultimate compliment...

My favorite photo is friendship. Keep telling us stories. The more you talk the less you'll hurt. Love you darling. We're all here and aren't going anywhere, so let it out.

I feel honored that you might replace Serevrus with "tranquility" photo, Leah.

Bob, get Suzanne a drink now. She's going typo crazy again...

Cecile, I love that story. It's fantastic.

It's Thirsty Thursday... I've got the cure for crazy typos behind the bar.

Where we camp there is a place known only as "The Cold Pool." I can guarantee that if we were faced with the reality of that second photo, it would be a strip-off competition to see who could disturb the waters first...and somebody would cheat by throwing a rock...

Not that there's anything wrong with that?

Best wishes,

Thanks Leah! Love you. And I agree RC, we are so lucky to have you, but for the life of me, I can't figure out what the hell a "frined" is. Is that German? Queeie, would your clarify please. Oh, and welcome to Typo Fest!

Alrighty Blottie... what happened to your "Friend to lean on" post?

Suzanne said...

Bob, I don't know, I was editing and before I knew it I edited right out of the post. I'm considering writing it again, but not tonight. I'm too damn tired. You read it and weren't first? Damn you.

Here, I'll be first. I can't YouTube and can't edit. That's a first!
