A Friend in Need
Hey Everyone,
Cecile called me yesterday to let me know that her Father has passed away. I'm hoping that he went peacefully and had no pain. She wanted me to let you all know that she won't be around for a little while but she appreciates all your thoughts and prayers.
Let's raise a glass to Cecile's Father and to both her and her family's peace of mind during their time of mourning.
We love you Cecile!!
XOXOXO

much love and my angels are with you...
IV, that's so beautiful. I know I give you so much grief, but I adore you to death and that comment is why. You are soft and gentle. And just so you know, I think of you as one of my brothers. Why? I don't know, but I've never seen you as anything else. What a beautiful comment.
Cece, we all love you. We're right here honey. Lean on us if you must.
XO
So sorry for your loss Cece. Take care.
Best wishes to you and yours,
Skeeter
I was hesitant to comment because I'm so new here, but then I thought, what the hell? Regrets and good wishes can come from anywhere.
So I'm sending some along the ethernets...
Megan, don't ever hesitate. You're one of us and so welcomed. We're the easiest group alive!!! Trust me!
XO
I know Cece's laughing.
Cece, I know how difficult it is to lose your dad; I lost my dad in June of 1999 and it still hurts. Much love and even more hugs from all of us here.
We love you!
Hey Everyone,
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. (especially you Megan) Your comment did bring a smile to my face. It is going to take me awhile to get back into the swing of things. I am carring a lot of greif in my heart. Of course it is all selfish greif. Because my dad is not hurting anymore and I hope that is he exactly where he hoped he would be. I have to tell you all a little story. I have a brother that I never met. He died before I was born at the tender age of 4 days old. My parents never got to bring him home from the hospital. He was their seventh child. The fourth out of five boys. (for those of you who don't know this already, I"m the baby of ten.) Anyway, about two weeks before my dad passed away he asked my mother to make him a baby quilt. He tolder her that he wanted to take it with him when he went Home and give it to the baby. His name was James. So my mom worked for an entire day and hand sewed a baby quilt for my dad to take with him. When she finished it, he asked her to cover him up with it. The quilt never left Dad's side. When they came Saturday to take him away, it went with him, and it stayed with him when we placed him into the ground. My Dad believed in his heart that there was an afterlife. He believed that he would see my brother's James and Richard, and his parents, and grandparents, and brothers and sisters. I can only hope that my dad was right.
OMG Cecile!
That is possibly the most bitter-sweet story I have ever heard. I wish you peace and pray for you during this difficult time....
XOXOXO

I love you. Your dad is a very wise man and I'm confident, surrounded by all those so dear to him. I believe that Cece.
We both come from big families, so understand the joy and pain. My mom was 9 months pregnant when she slipped on iced covered steps and lost my baby brother. I'd picked his name and it was decided. Matthew. When he died I was devastated. Hurts to this very day. I do believe I'll see everyone I love when this life is over. Honestly, I do.
Thanks for such a beautiful comment. And honey, you know what? Your mom's a gem. That's love. Your dad is a very, very lucky man.
I love you. Hold on.
XO
Thinking of you, wish I could take away the grief...I do believe your Dad is in a better place with your brothers and other loved ones. I know you will cherish all your memories of him.
Love you,
Gig
*quietly sits on Macy Sofa, lights a candle in honor of Cece's Dad*
Hi Gig. Mind if I join you? You know I light a candle every morning for all the family, friends and animals I've lost, so why not do it here as well. I get this bag of votives at Target for $4.99 for 50. Seems like a bargin. Here honey, like one?
Why is this sofa so comfy?
Bartender, Can Giggie get something strong. You know what she likes. I'll take a chardonney in a really big glass. Thanks honey. Oh, don't worry, we'll clean up after ourselves. I suspect we'll sit here awhile.
Suze,
Glad you are here. I just love this sofa, it is comfy isn't it. You did a great job picking it out, it fits perfectly here.
Since you have a whole bag of candles, we can light a few more, ok?
All we need now is to have Cece sing to us...she does have a beautiful voice.
I keep telling her she needs to make a recording for the Onion. whadya think?
Hi baby. Yes, I picked a good sofa. Damn!!! It's held up well over the past 3 decades! I guess high end matters. Sometimes.
I'm glad you're here too sweetie. Huge hug. I love you. Rough week. Wow. It's only Wednesday. Rough half week. But doesn't this place look great with all the candles? Honey, did we light every one? Looks like it! It feel as if we're at a spa! Jorge, can you draw me a bath please.
Cece and her voice. Hummmmmmmm. The voice of an angel. She should record. I've recommended the same. Perhaps in our lifetime.
Love you darling. Lean on me and I'll lean on you. What a beautiful evening. Severus, come here dear. Sit down and take a load off.
XO
Cecile,
That was a very poignant story ....
I'm crying.
Remember, we're all here for you, take all the time that you need.
Love,
Mark xo
Hello everyone else,
You're all wonderful people...
M.
CECE, your story makes me want to believe in an afterlife... i do believe in the the fact that when people die and are no longer suffering that they are indeed in a better place... a heaven of sorts.
Not only was the story of your dad asking for a baby blanket touching, but even more touching was the fact that when he asked your mom to make it for him, she never once stopped to ask why....she just made it. What love.
Hey Suz, I see you have some candles left, may I have one please?
Queen Goob,
Absoluely. We'll keep the big cabinet to the left of the sink stocked with candles. Just grab a few whenever you feel the need.
XO
