Well, I guess we made history yesterday by having the first black candidate running for President. It will be interesting to see how all of this turns out. In the mean time, I propose that we just eat lots of Cilantro grilled shrimp and pray. For what? I'm not sure. It seems the world is already heading to hell in a hand basket anyway, so I'm not sure how much good praying will do. But for the sake of action, I suppose we should pray anyway. I don't particularly care what name your supreme being goes by (Just as long as it isn't Satan or Lucifer we already have enough dark forces at work in the world.) So let's eat, drink, be merry and pretend that the world is not turning to shit all around us.

I'll eat cilantro shrimp to that!!! I'm praying, Cecile. Believe me, I'm praying my ass off.
well its almost fitting that we are toasting to politics by eating some bottom feeders... nice one and i love shrimp! cheeers to that!
Looks beautiful honey. I'll pray for everyone, including the poor dead shrimp.
I was thinking yesterday how lucky I am to see a black man and a white woman running for president. I'm older than all of you, so remember when black people had seperate bathrooms and were called "colored." When I asked my grandmother "Why?" I remember it took a long time to explain, but I hung on every word. I am so grateful for yesterday. I tried to listen to both speeches as I was feeding everyone and trying to "keep house!!!" I was impressed. I'm proud of both of them, and I'm so grateful to be here at this time in history. It's amazing. Honestly, I can't believe anyone would want to tackle the slash and burn that Shrub has left, but they do. Thank God.
Love you Cece! Thank you for this one. Hi R.C. and I.V. *Twirls around and around and lands on sofa waiting for someone to ask her to dance.*
I am with you on this one Cece, shrimp and praying go well together. It is indeed an historical time here in our great country, I just don't know if we will be able to handle what comes our way...I hope and pray that we can.
It has been a rough week and I am ready for my shot of crown with a chase.
Gig...honey I'm over yonder. It is historical. Can you believe it?
hello suzanne
