Don't worry Kylie! We'll all be here! Great party, Bindi. Everything: shoes, sweets, and especially that video--we'll all be dancing along in a moment--fantastic!!

What kind of shoes do the guys get to wear? Plain or fancy?

Bindi, you're the best and I love the shoes. I've been a HUGE fan of Indian shoes since living in Los Angeles. Rob and I went to an Indian shop to buy some tea he'd read about way back in the early 90's and we had SO much fun. The guy who owned the shop was lovely and helped us with everything. We had a blast and left smelling really good for some reason!

These are the shoes I love, the mules on the right and the mules on the left in your photo. I'm a mule person and I don't mind if they have a sling back. I like them in flats and a mid to small heal as well. And I love the ones with a pointed toe, mainly because they're so elegant. I realize I like basically 4 kinds of shoes: flip flops, sneakers, Indian mules and goregous black numbers with a pointed toe and a sling back. Oh, and black mules with a pointed toe and a small very low heel. Obviously, I'm very particular about my shoes and I don't really go with fashion, I simply wear what I love and think flatters my foot. Oh, good Lord! Almost forgot clogs. Have worn them all my life, but had to stop about 10 years ago when my heals started to go numb! Wood can do that to you!

I haven't been able to locate a good Indian store in Sacramento, but have looked on line the past few years for anyone selling those beautiful pointed numbers. I found a few on eBay selling the flat slippers, but not in the beautiful colors I love. I'm sure something will come up.

Don't cry baby Kylie, we're all here honey. I didn't show up yesterday and most of today because I didn't turn the computer on. Very busy and my head was pounding out of my skull. It's been in the 80's here and such a wonderful time to get out, do yard work, get skin cancer...you know, all the good stuff, but instead I spent most of my time sitting, trying to hold up my head. Pathetic. I'm also concerned about some of my ferals, trying to help Rob prepare for the Florida Bar Exam and honestly, I'm dealing with so much stress, sometimes I just want to dunk my head in the toilet a 100 times, just for a reality check. But I didn't clean it last week, so I'm not going to do that!

I rolled out of my cave this morning and thought "Oh My God, I have to have Kylie's dessert photos to Cielo by today and I don't even have it made." So, all morning I've been thinking about how to simplify, only to look at the calendar a few hours ago and realized the contest isn't until Wednesday!!! Hipee! I have a least two more days.

Kylie, this is going to be a gorgeous party. All your Peeps will be there with bells on. And the guys always underdress, so they'll probably do just as Bindi suggested. The music's going to be beautiful and so will the Indian dancers. We can slip out to play some "slops" every now and then and perhaps a bit of poker. Get ready for a fun day girlies! Watch out for the man in the black trench coat. I think he has something up his sleeves. Literally.

Sugar high for one and all!!! And lets win some money!

Love to all, and thanks Bindi for such a great post. XO

Kylie,

Okay, we'll start the party early here in America. Just be warned, the desserts won't arrive until May 1st! And you're correct my dear, Random Chick's party was amazing. Can hardly wait for the next one.
